Myleene Klass was born on April 8, 1978 in Gorleston, Norfolk, England. Her mom is a Filipina and her dad an Anglo-Austrian. Growing up with classical musicians on her dad’s side, Myleene began learning piano and violin at age 4. By age 12, she also mastered the harp. Myleene has passed with an A-grade for piano, voice and violin at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She attended St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary School, Cliff Park High School, Notre Dame High School, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, as well as the Royal Academy of Music, where she graduated with a musical theatre degree. In 2006, Myleene Klass studied astronomy with the Open University.
After college, Myleene Klass began a career in the entertainment industry, starting with an appearance on the reality show “The Basement.” She then won a spot in the talent competition “Popstars,” which gave her a chance to perform with a group known as “Hear'Say.” Klass and her ‘Hear’Say’ co-members released two albums – “Popstars” and “Everybody” and had 4 singles at the Top 10 Singles. When she left the group, Myleene Klass released her own classical music albums “Moving On,” “Myleene’s Music for Romance,” and “Myleene’s Music for Mothers.”
When not creating music, Myleene Klass works on TV, usually as a presenter of TV shows, awards and events. She has also appeared on reality shows like “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” and “Mastermind.” Myleene also worked as occasional reporter on TV shows and radio programs for Classic FM and TalkSPORT. In 2008, Klass appeared in the stage production of “The Vagina Monologues.”
Myleene Klass has been dating former bodyguard Graham Quinn since 2000. The couple welcomed a daughter named Ava Bailey in August 16, 2007. Myleene released a book about her personal experiences during pregnant called “My Bump and Me : From Morning Sickness to Motherhood.” She also signed a deal with Mothercare to launch her baby clothes collection called “Baby K” and writes for Mothercare’s blog “Gurgle.”
